We are hiring a Color-Matching Technician for our client in Ink/Paint Manufacturing Industry to be located in Cikande, Banten.
Key Responsibilities:
Work on-site at the customer’s plant as the primary contact for color matching on printing presses.
Adjust ink formulations to meet color standards and laboratory values; conduct test prints and visual/metric evaluations.
Prepare custom spot colors, perform color measurement, and ensure ink viscosity and tack meet quality requirements.
Troubleshoot color shifts, density variations, and other printing issues in collaboration with press operators.
Gather technical requests or complaints from the customer and relay feedback to internal research and development and production teams.
Manage inventory of raw materials and mixed inks; record usage data and coordinate replenishment orders.
Support new product or new color launches, including test runs and evaluation reports.
Standardize printing conditions and ink handling procedures; enforce 5S and safety rules on site.
Assist with maintenance and calibration of color measurement and inspection devices.
Prepare monthly reports on color-matching performance, yield, and improvement proposals.
Perform other tasks related to this position.
Qualifications:
Minimum Diploma’s degree in related major
English conversational proficiency
Relevant experience in handling ink, paints, or toner as a research and development staff member, in-plant engineer, or quality control and assurance personnel.
Understanding color matching principles.
Having Car Driving License/SIM A
