Seafood Merchandiser
Responsibilities :
Analysing past sales figures/trends to anticipate future product needs.
Devising a merchandise plan using appropiate techniques.
Relaying the merchandise plan to the buyer who, in turn, can decide on what products, styles, colours etc to purchase and from which suppliers, at what price.
Devising a contract for the suppliers including quality control, accuracy and flexibility. This is done throughout the season.
Allocating certain amounts of stock, to each outlet, throughout the season.Responsible to minimise stock holdings and commitment to allow for maximum flexibility.
Propose Retail Consumer Seafood merchandise assortment and pricing.
Propose Sales budget, monthly inventory report.
Once the products are all distributed and put on sale, the Merchandiser can monitor stock movement, consider markdowns, inter-branch transfers, promotions or clear outs etc.
To select and Monitor right Vendor based on business ethics and their performances.
Managing and motivating all staff in Division to increase sales, Productivity and efficiency
To perform any additional tasks and support had instructed to accomplish the company’s goals
Requirements :
Education Minimum Bachelor Degree, any major
Language Skill Basic English or Japanese speaker will be Apprecieted.
Skill Time Management, office Application, problem solving, negotiation skill, margin control, task management
Experience Minimum 3 years in seafood industry, seafood supplier experience are also welcomed to apply.
Characteristic Attention to detail, deadline oriented, can work as independent or as team, understandable with suply chain management, having experiences on product quality standard and handling, experienced in supplier process.
