R & D Manager
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from Engineering or related field
Max 35 years old
Proficiency in English (both oral & written) is a must
Strong analytical thinking
Excellent product development skill
Strong material knowledge
Excellent in market research
Preferably have experience in bedding industry
Responsibilities :
Determine, implement and monitor research and development strategies and priorities to support organisation’s commercial, policy or research objectives
Plans on new ideas for R&D to make the sector better and efficient for the purpose of making the business better
Understand customer expectations on to-be manufactured product
Determine and execute improved technologies used by suppliers, competitors, and customers
Work together with brand managers in product development, and complete development according to new product launch timeline
Preparation, review, release, modification, and supervision of the national product specification standards
Monitor BOM production; provide standard cost data
Manage product development projects, with technical and commercial feasibility of products to guide and supervise all project processes, and solve problems encountered in a timely manner; and continuously improve and correct the difficulties in the new product development process
Communicate research findings and insights through reports and presentations
Monitor team metrics and objectives ensuring meeting of goals
